adequate stay with minor issues

quiet roomclean roomperfect locationshocking water pressuremultiple card feesfaulty tv
the room was quiet and clean. it had everything we needed. the location was perfect. we could walk to shops and restaurants.
the water pressure was shocking. the shower water went piping hot and i got burnt a few times. the tv didn't work the first day. i had to make 3 different payments during check in as the staff didn't charge me correctly resulting in multiple card fees for currency exchange.

the front desk staff were friendly and competent. they offered us parking. all the staff we encountered were awesome. beds were comfy. the location is great.
my shower was out of control, and the shower curtain arrangement dated and messy. there was also a few bits of paint flaking off. the net curtain has a tear.

average stay with some issues

fluctuating temperaturepoor drainage
the shower's temperature fluctuated wildly. it went from actually warm to scalding hot without warning (a bit startling, i must admit). also, the shower seemed to drain poorly. it filled up quickly, feeling more like i was showering in a bath than under a proper showerhead. these issues definitely detracted from what could have been a more relaxing experience.
